Easy

Details

Are you seeking to acquire future-proof relevance in the networking field ?Do you feel that CLI will become or is well on its way to becoming a legacy method of working with next-gen networks ? If so, ZimNOG will be hosting a renowned Expert to help get you onto the right track !
ZimNOG is a community for Network Operation professionals, enthusiasts , academics and users .ZimNOG is proud to present the “Network Programming made easy” event on the 21st July 2020 @ 19:00hrs SAST .

Software Defined Networking (SDN) started as the separation of the control plane and the data plane, but the true power of SDN lies in the ability to communicate with the network through well defined interfaces using standard protocols. This talk provides a brief introduction to APIs and programmability in general, then dives into model driven network programmability and the role of YANG, NETCONF, and RESTCONF. We then take a look at the wealth of open source and/or free software tools that exists to help master these technologies. Links to all tools and resources will be provided along with instructions that make it easy for attendees to get hands on experience with programmable networks.

Join us for the rare opportunity to interface Charles Eckel, who is one of the industry’s top subject matter experts and as usual , our events are free of charge so bring a friend !
